Emma has over a decade of applied research and consulting experience having served philanthropic, non-profit, government and multilateral organisations on maximising their social impact. She brings in-depth experience in evidence-based strategy formulation and impact management and most recently was a public and social sector expert at McKinsey & Company.

Her experience includes assessing strategic investment options for a group of leading philanthropists in Asia with a combined endowment of over USD 2 billion, defining the scope of USD 100 million multi-agency international development fund across 8 geographies, and facilitating multi-year strategic review and formulation exercises for non-profits in Singapore.

Emma has a Double Masters Degree in Public Policy from Columbia University and the National University of Singapore where she focused on urban and social policy.
