EXCELLENCE FRAMEWORK

We developed our “Excellence Framework” in 2015/16 through an extensive review of non-profit quality and due diligence standards from around the world, plus wide-ranging input from sector experts in Singapore. We piloted our framework with a set of local charities and then refined our approach based on the feedback and lessons learned.

The Excellence Framework covers core domains including impact, finance, governance and reputation. Our methodology for data collections involves three steps: a review of publicly available information; a review of relevant internal documents; and interviews with senior management. Where possible, we also perform surveys and interviews with other stakeholders.
